Management Level Senior Associate

& Summary A career in Deals Valuation, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations unlock greater value from existing assets and ongoing capital expenditures as well as new acquisitions, investments, and complex corporate arrangements. We focus on a series of services, such as acquisition and disposal valuation advice including deal pricing and negotiation support, strategic value consulting for improvement of corporate and capital management decisions, financial modelling and value analysis. In short, upon being a member of our team, you will support clients to make profound strategic decisions, better conduct business transactions and decisions, appropriately allocate capital investment, and satisfy regulatory requirements with professional skills and in-depth industry knowledge.

Main purpose of the job and key background information

Activities to be performed :
\xef\x82\xb7 Support projects on valuation of businesses for raising capital, purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Work on building and reviewing financial models for discounted cash flow and market approach.
\xef\x82\xb7 Prepare company, industry and economic reviews for valuation reports.
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify comparable companies and compute various transaction related multiples.
\xef\x82\xb7 Use comparable companies to compute weighted average cost of capital (WACC)
\xef\x82\xb7 Obtain training on the relevant databases, acquire knowledge required to use the databases efficiently
\xef\x82\xb7 Organize research findings into meaningful deliverables
\xef\x82\xb7 Carry out other ad-hoc research based on instructions provided

Requirements

\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to analyze and anticipate client requests, interpret asks and act according to expectations
\xef\x82\xb7 Good reasoning and analytical ability
\xef\x82\xb7 Good understanding of databases (CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, ThomsonOne etc.)
\xef\x82\xb7 Sound financial concepts
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide input on best practices and process optimization opportunities
\xef\x82\xb7 Churn out varied work requests in short turnaround time.
\xef\x82\xb7 Capable of designing new research approaches which enhance quality and productivity
\xef\x82\xb7 Good working knowledge in MS Office tools
\xef\x82\xb7 Effective verbal and written communications skills
\xef\x82\xb7 Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team
\xef\x82\xb7 Self-starter with ability to multi-task and constantly reprioritize
