Advisor, Demand Planning

You will:

Ownership of the country level demand planning to enable robust short, medium and long term forecasts, enabling the business to achieve high product availability levels, finished goods inventory turns, and low excess & obsolescence. Participation in weekly outlook review meetings including active engagement with cross-functional team members on assessing the current state of the business and develop / implement bridge plans to ensure the business achieves its P&L objectives

Provide clear reporting on actual business trends and analytics which include demand / attainment, end-of-life (EOL), and left-to-sell (LTS) status on platforms; providing recommendations to the Marketing and Sales teams in a timely and effective manner to minimize / eliminate E&O exposure to the business. Work with Sales/Marketing team (Product, Brand, Merchandising) on the timing / availability of new products for inclusion in the demand forecast.

Analyze demand management processes, assess current demand insights, identify gaps (such as accuracy), innovate, and drive improvement on demand-sensing capabilities. Analyze and maintain reporting procedures to measure forecasting accuracy against actual sales reporting back and driving improvement plans with internal stakeholders.

Determine the key planning milestones and transition plans for each product (both new and refresh cycles) \xe2\x80\x93 based on alignment with product team.

Be the focal point for Merchandizing / Sales on supportability enquiries and the SME on the country\xe2\x80\x99s business priorities / supply chain model. Partner with supply team in providing supply updates, and to provide demand shaping recommendations, and communication of this information to key internal business partner. Manage relationship and partner with Sales Operations team in managing channel inventory situation and provide demand and supply requirement to support retail business

Essential Requirements

5+ years of working experience in Business planning, Marketing or Finance experience

Strong business acumen and able to relate actions to business results. Proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and root cause analytics

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive recommendations that will influence decisions cross functionally and to work independently

Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, related product/technology, Business Administration or engineering field.

Knowledge of Microsoft tools such as excel, PowerPoint

Desirable Requirements

Masters degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, related product/technology, Business Administration or Engineering field.

Supply Chain Expertise: Experience in planning, forecasting and supply management
