About the department
The position is based in the Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI) area, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) - a department with 500+ employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our Cloud Services, Infrastructure Services, Operations, IT Support, Major Incident Management and Digital Workplace Services. The Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure is an area consisting of 160+ people in 10+ Product teams with highly skilled and dedicated employees. We have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, and we work in a truly global setup with colleagues located all over the world. In C&CI we are globally responsible for all Novo Nordisk Cloud (Private and Public), and Corporate Infrastructure (Network and Connectivity) Services.
The Position
As a System Manager you are responsible for supervising the day-to-day usage, operation, and maintenance of DevOps Platforms for Azure DevOps and the extension Modern Requirement, and GitHub Platform. You also provide user training and support as needed and provide a single point of contact, liaison and escalation for all system and service-related matters. You are entrusted for managing DevOps Platforms where you will be responsible for managing the qualification activities, including all the system documentation creation, review/approval for the validation deliverables like User Requirements, System specifications, validation Plan, Qualification Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Functional Risk Assessment, IQ/OQ/PQ Protocols, Traceability Matrix, Design Specs, and validation Summary Reports. You will be entrusted with the following DevOps Platform responsibilities:
• Executing projects in Agile Methodology and storing/managing source code to streamline development process in Novo Nordisk (NN).
• Prepare, provide and develop the services in the SLA and manage the expectation of Line of Business (LoB)/Super users, Customers and users concerning the use of the services and systems.
• Responsible for ensuring that existing services meet their service targets. Operational vendor coordination and negotiation. Communicate with external vendor to ensure timely resolution of incidents and problems.
• Provide a single point of contact, liaison and escalation for all system and service-related matters.
• Responsibility of maintaining the compliance of the system, reviewing and approving system related documents.
• Have subject matter expertise in Good IT Practice. Supplier selection, Design, development, and installation and operational verification
• Following methods that are based on Good IT Practices and deliver effective solutions and quality. Ensuring/Developing technical expertise in the supported product suites.
Qualifications
• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree with overall 7-8 years of system management experience and within GxP regulated industry.
• Experience in Azure DevOps and GitHub, preferably as a system manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Thorough understanding and experience of ITIL processes.
• Strong management knowledge and documented GxP experience from several system will be preferred.
• System management knowledge necessary, if not past as System Manager, then detailed Knowledge and experience with (6-8 years' experience) in change management, configuration Management, Release Management and Incident and problem management.
• IT experience covering specifications, design, development, or implementation of IT Solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written/spoken).
• Ability to analyze and provide guidance on complex issues in a timely and structured manner.
• Budget and contract management and Cross-cultural understanding.
• Ability to operate and achieve results in a virtual international IT operation.
• Business understanding and ability to create results across business functions.
