for Test Lead (FTE)



Experience:

Total 6 to 9 years of experience

Hands on experience in Manual and Automated Software Testing is a must.

Responsibilities:

Working with UOP Engineering Test & Development teams to design, develop and execute System Test solutions, and understand Engineering Design Tools used.

Prepare Test Plan, Test strategy and estimate Test Efforts for the testing requirements

Prepare functional, usability and UI Test cases for System Testing and execute the same

Prepare Test report and Test metrics for the Test cases executed.

Interact with the partners/customers and communicate the testing status.

Design, implement and maintain automated tests.

Research and stay current on software test automation methodologies and best practices.

Help to define and execute the Test Automation Frameworks tools roadmap.

Train team members on tool use and test automation/performance best practices.

Provide support to internal customers as necessary.

Collaborate with Engineering teams on best practices, process changes, standards, etc. as part of continuous process improvement and ensure enough testability is built in.

Acquire and use Refinery knowledge, UOP Tools knowledge, Schedule-A knowledge and Chemical Engineering knowledge to achieve above points.



Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge on Software Development Lifecycle and Agile Software Development Methodologies is desirable.

Exposure to Automation tools like Selenium, Automation Anywhere, Test Complete etc is desirable.

Exposure to different Chemical Engg Design Tools and Refinery knowledge preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to establish rapport and communicate with people at all levels of organization

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision

Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniquesEducation:

B.E, B.Tech, M.Tech. BCA, MCA. Graduate in Chemical Engineering with software experience is plus### Additional Information
