The Position - Job Level -6

As an Advanced Operations Analyst, you are responsible for define, build and operate the network WAN and LAN services, Wi-Fi, network security services, datacentre and network infrastructure patch management services. Provide technical operational support globally for PS (product supply/manufacturing) in Novo Nordisk.

Needs to be proactive in engaging in close dialogue with the IT architects, IT specialists and stakeholders across PSnet including Production facilities and Datacentres globally to create, improve awareness on the technical deliveries of all the IT Infrastructure and IT security support services to meet business expectations. You will also be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

  • Perform the role of a technical consultant during major incident and critical outages for PSnet Network Infrastructure issues reported globally.
  • Enable fast and optimal project execution according to roll-out plans and ensuring best possible operation and maintenance.
  • Ensure a standardised platform worldwide in product supply and to establish strong relationship with stakeholders, end users, service owners and IT suppliers.
  • Manage Daily operations & Technical support in the IT Infrastructure area for PSnet (product Supply IT).
  • Manage the IT Infrastructure, audits and compliance levels as per Novo Nordisk norms.
Qualifications
  • You will be holding a bachelor\'s degree in relevant subject with 7+ years of experience working within IT Infrastructure operations & technical services.
  • 5+ years working with key stakeholders and decision makers outside India in a cross-functional, international environment.
  • Solid understanding of Network routing, Switching, Wireless, VPN (Virtual Private Network) and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching technologies) from Cisco and other vendors.
  • Solid understanding of Cisco Switching and Routing, Cisco Wireless, TCP (Transmission Control Protocol)/IP (Internet Protocol) networking, Active directory, DNS (Domain Name System), SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol), NTP (Network Time Protocol), IMAP(Internet Message Access Protocol), SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol), AlgoSec products, Firewall Analyser and Fire Flow.
  • Knowledge of SolarWinds network management, IT Infrastructure and IT Security standards (like National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM, Tripwire installations, Python and Power-shell scripting.
