### Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a function focused on the optimization of the Production organization's assembly methods, processes, and equipment. Each day, you will ensure that the production process aligns with the project targets, approves the design, both for internal or external developed processes and performs the final test in accordance with the project's data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring the efficiency of all external production processes. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors Division in Vadodara. In this role you will report to Operations Manager. You will be mainly accountable for: Develop and implement manufacturing processes and strategies to meet business objectives and new product development. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and methods to improve manufacturing efficiency and capability. Manage capital expenditure (capex) budgeting, allocation, recording, monitoring, and optimization. Utilize simulation software such as AutoCAD , FlexSim to model and simulate assembly line processes. Analyze simulation results to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflow, and improve overall efficiency. Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. Optimize people and materials flow, area utilization, and workstation de-sign to enhance efficiency and productivity. Lead initiatives to improve overall productivity and efficiency within the manufacturing environment. This role is graded at GGS 13

### Qualifications for the role

• University degree in Engineering degree, (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field). Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 12-15 years of hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing, layout development, simulation, or related fields of digitalization.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.O or 5.O and strong experience in layout development and optimization required
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Proficiency in simulation software such as AutoCAD , FlexSim or simi-lar tools.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their application in layout design and process optimization preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead change initiatives.
