In this role, you have the opportunity to -

• Initiate and drive strategic innovation & technology roadmaps and advance development in Diagnosis & Surgery Imaging area to enable meaningful innovations resulting growth for Mobile Surgery business.
• Define and execute the Advance Development program and pre-studies for Mobile Surgery Business across Best, Pune and Bangalore sites.
• Manage the Advance Development Department team in Pune and Best.

You are responsible for

• Inspiring, coaching and leading Advanced Development department of scientists, architects and engineers, located in Pune & Best locations.
• Explore the Clinical & Technology trend with customers that influence the future of Mobile Systems and prepare future trend map for Mobile Systems business.
• Define long term clinically focused innovation funnel including breakthroughs in Core & Adjacent areas. Defines and executes the Advance Development plan within the allocated budget in line with the Integral roadmap of Mobile Surgery business.
• Responsible for executing the concept & feasibility program in line with the business strategy and is accountable for timely execution to reduce risk.
• Ensure that there is a sound process and mechanism defined to transfer the advance development outcome to the NPI organization. Responsible for ensuring the success of this process.
• Directs and guides the activities of technology intelligence, Clinical trends, Luminary Engagement for the Mobile Surgery business.
• Manage Intellectual property, Invention Disclosures, Patents, and orchestration of Innovation Drives and Hackathon\xe2\x80\x99s across Best, Pune and Bangalore sites.
• Build and maintain collaboration with Innovation & Research eco systems with IGT Innovation, IGT Incubation, Philips Research, IC Advanced Development & Universities
• Manage External Innovation (3d Parties) & Clinical Partners (Customers, KOLs).

Philips Healthcare Innovation Center (HIC) Pune is a product innovation center for multiple businesses with presence of R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing functions. The center is focused on developing smart and reliable X-ray imaging based Diagnostics and Treatment products with enhanced patient safety to meet the unmet needs of a wide range of global hospital customer base.

HIC Pune is the global head-quarters for the IGT Mobile Surgery business and it has a significant R&D presence for the Precision Diagnosis Cluster. In recent years, HIC Pune has become the hub for the growth of Diagnostic X-Ray, CT/AMI, MR and Imaging Components businesses.

To succeed in this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• Proven innovation leader with 15+ years of experience in global general innovation management roles that have included R&D/Product Management, innovation funnel, KOLs and partnership management.
• Affinity with product roadmap, ability to understand and work with a technical product; experience in engineering and R&D environments; proven leadership in product development cycles, open innovation results, and delivering to customer needs.
• Experience in mulit-Clinical domain is essential, domain experience in Mobile Surgery is preferred. Clinical and/or scientific experience in the Orthopedics space is a plus.
• Proven track record of introducing new technologies, products, and continuous improvement.
• Display strong customer, market, content, clinical and technology knowledge, as recognized by the business.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams \xe2\x80\x93 clinical, innovation, R&D, marketing, cross-functional team members, as well as external partners.
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent preferably in Engineering or related field or combination of bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and relevant experience.

5 years of experience in Leading, motivating and inspiring innovation teams Experience. * Experience in executing Design Controls for Medical Devices, and knowledge of Regulations & Standards.

• Experience in Digital Technologies, Artificial Intelligence Applications in medical domain is a plus.
• Strong analytical and creative thinking abilities \xe2\x80\x93 combined with a good portion of problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills to work with Philips Senior management and partner peers.
