Roles and Responsibilities for Advance data analyst:\xc2\xb7 Using analytical and data mining tools, drill down the data gathered and identify key factors to attribute to insights\xc2\xb7 Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data\xc2\xb7 Understanding business needs and problems through effective communications and improve accuracy of the prediction models\xc2\xb7 Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements\xc2\xb7 Partnering with Reporting team validate data accuracy before and after the analysis.\xc2\xb7 Perform adhoc analysis to support global business requirements across the lines of business\xc2\xb7 Proactively monitoring data to identify opportunities for additional analysis.\xc2\xb7 Recommend enhancements and reporting tools to do advanced analytics\xc2\xb7 Using tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats, drill-down capabilities to enable self serve\xc2\xb7 Develop and execute control plans to monitor the accuracy and effectiveness of the analytic models and optimization solutions for Business.\xc2\xb7 Good experience in SAP, SAP HANA and EDW, Oracle, and/or reporting tools\xc2\xb7 Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQLFinance experience\xc2\xb7 Should have good understanding on P/L reporting\xc2\xb7 Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.\xc2\xb7 Working closely with business units to understand their financial needs and provide support\xc2\xb7 Comparing actual performance against budget/forecast and analyzing deviations.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in financial planning software like HyperionAdditional Information
