The Position
As an Advanced Business Analyst II - Cloud Engineer, you will help build cloud solutions to facilitate digital science and innovation for the Research & Early Development (R&ED) area in Novo Nordisk. Build capability for automated deployment of cloud solutions (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IAC). You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities:

• Design and engineer scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions for computational research.
• Build experience and knowledge of new technologies that can enhance our computational research solutions.
• Optimize solutions for efficient resource utilization, parallel processing, and high throughput, including security protocols, access controls, and data protection measures.
• Work closely with DD&IT engineering teams and professionals to develop standards and partake in core technology initiatives to ensure Research & Development requirements are captured and developed.
• Assist in establishing proof-of-concept (POC) research solutions with new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field with minimum 3-5 years of experience working with engineering solutions for the cloud.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud solutions, with a deep understanding of major cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Solid understanding of API integrations and experience working with RESTful APIs and frameworks for seamless integration with other systems.
• Proficiency in building and deploying cloud solutions using automation tools and methodologies (CI/CD) and experience with IAC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Demonstrated ability to architect, develop, and optimize cloud-native applications, leveraging cloud services and serverless computing technologies.
• Familiarity with identity and access management systems, particularly experience working with Okta or similar authentication and authorization providers.
• Strong programming skills in languages commonly used in cloud environments, such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges in cloud solutions.

About the department

Digital Data & IT GBS (Global Business Service) was established in February 2010 as an integral part of Digital Data & IT in HQ (Head Quarter). From the beginning in 2010, the unit has grown to 800+ employees till date. The main role of DD&IT GBS is to \'manage\' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management, etc.
In DDIT RED GBS, we partner globally with R&ED LoB to achieve scientific aspiration. We provide timely, best in class, regulated and non-regulated IT solutions, infrastructure, and system management across the R&ED value chain. We manage more than 20+ IT systems and the department consists of Agile DevOps members, System Managers, Validation SMEs, cloud engineers and Business Analysts.
