About the department

The Research & Early Development, Digital Data & IT (DD&IT) department at Novo Nordisk is a global team that partners with the R&ED Line of Business to achieve scientific aspirations. We provide timely, best-in-class, regulated and non-regulated IT solutions, infrastructure, and system management across the R&ED value chain. With over 800 employees, our department consists of Agile DevOps members, System Managers, Validation SMEs, cloud engineers, and Business Analysts. The position

As an Advanced Business Analyst I at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Responsible for the execution and dissemination of fit-for-purpose regular reports and dashboards tracking our portfolio progression, pipeline outlook and resource utilization across R&ED.
• Partnering with the R&D project organization and other stakeholders to contribute independent portfolio analysis and structure portfolio discussion for governance decisions and reviews.
• Collaborating with line of business areas to provide actionable analytics relating to resource allocation.
• Responsible for preparing pipeline forecasts and the related analytics dashboard, as well as working with our external vendor to maintain and further develop the forecasting system.
• Benchmarking internal and external data to assess portfolio performance and as input to central core processes.
• Providing other analysis related to the R&ED pipeline and organization as needed.
• A valuable sparring partner for new colleagues.




Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience working with analytics from the pharmaceutical, finance/investment or biotech industry.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to process data from multiple sources to create meaningful and structured material to allow efficient decision making.
• Experience with working across complex matrix organizations is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal and written communication.
• Ability to represent NN in relation with users and external stakeholders.
