It will support not only the business development in India, but also the global product portfolio of the Company.Position Summary:The Advance Engineer - Hoods will be responsible for developing SMC/Sheet metal Hoods for Small & Medium tractors (30-300+hp) segment. Position is part of Small & Medium Ag. Tractor PDE team at ITC and requires close collaboration with local/global peers, local and global leaders to transform the value generated for organization & for the stakeholders. Nature of work shall predominantly be focused on Product Design across new & current product development, VA/VE, sustenance engineering, etc.Primary Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Execute new Products projects and or Current Products for complete aggregate and or a part of aggregate. This involve design of parts, sub systems and systems\xc2\xb7 Conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.\xc2\xb7 Expert in DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and other design tool\xc2\xb7 Conduct Design review with cross functional team\xc2\xb7 Perform effective RCA and provide cost effective solutions for field issues.\xc2\xb7 Expert in DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and other design tool.\xc2\xb7 Ensure design release timing and quality of design release.\xc2\xb7 Communicates with the other platform personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.\xc2\xb7 Manage complete design release process in TC / EC for prototype and production.\xc2\xb7 Provide inputs to Platform on new products and Current products.\xc2\xb7 Develop Engineering design project plan along with milestones to synchronize with main project plan for the product; Review sub-module detailed plans and suggest modifications as required\xc2\xb7 Work with cross functional team to gather inputs and ensure that design is workable as per KPISkillsExpert in External Class-A components, Hoods/Fenders & related structures, Qualitative assessment & improvement, Structural vibrations, Sheetmetal/plastic/non-metallic design, with a focus on injection molding /SMC /DCPD and relevant technology process, Fundamentals of mechanicsCREO 3D Modeling, adv surfaces modeling, complex Assy, 2D Drafting, Advanced Vismockup/DMU/Teamcenter, PLM tools (e.g. Enovia),Expert in Stack-Up Analysis & General Dimensioning & TolerancesFunctional/Technical Deliverables:\xc2\xb7 Responsible for delivering the work in an autonomous mode with limited supervision from ITC in close collaboration with global teams focusing Execution Excellence on Time, Quality and productivity KPIs\xc2\xb7\xc2\xb7 Responsible for growing technology of products in responsibility area, liasing with external / internal stakeholdersQualification, Age and Experience: -Education-Minimum: Engineering Graduate in mechanical or agricultural engineeringExperienceGraduate Engineers with 10-15 years of experience in product developmentWorked in a cross functional environment.
