Designs new products and processes. Improving and maintaining existing products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute new Products projects and or Current Products for complete aggregate and or a part of aggregate. This involve design of parts, sub systems and systems
Conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.
Expert in DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and other design tool
Conduct Design review with cross functional team
Ensure design release timing, quality of design release and assigned R&D expenses and budget
Communicates with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.
Manage complete design release process in TC / EC for prototype and production
Provide inputs to Platform on new products and Current products.
Develop Engineering design project plan along with milestones to synchronize with main project plan for the product; Review sub-module detailed plans and suggest modifications as required
Work with cross functional team to gather inputs and ensure that design is workable as per KPI
Taking role of Interface /coordinator in addition to his core responsibility as design engineer for his vertical where the PD organization can leverage his expertise over a period which

Qualification, Age and Experience: -
Education-
Minimum: Engineering Graduate in mechanical or agricultural engineering
Experience
Graduate Engineers with 8-14 years of experience in product development
Worked in a cross functional environment. Preference given to candidate from Tractor Industry or allied industry.
Skills
External Class-A components, Hoods/Fenders & related structures, Qualitative assessment & improvement, Structural vibrations, Sheetmetal/plastic/non-metallic design, with a focus on injection molding /SMC /DCPD and relevant technology process, Fundamentals of mechanics
CREO 3D Modeling , adv surfaces modeling, complex Assy, 2D Drafting, Advanced Vismockup/DMU/Teamcenter, PLM tools (e.g. Enovia),
Stack-Up Analysis, General Dimensioning & Tolerances

Other Information :
Product design and development experience and ability deliver under minimal supervision.
The person should be able to resolve production issue, push the development activities and lead solution implementation independently.
