Job Summary:
The Admissions and Outreach Manager for Postgraduate (PG) Enrolments at UCAM Mumbai Campus is responsible for driving the recruitment, selection, and enrolment of postgraduate students. This role involves managing the admissions process, engaging in outreach activities to build brand awareness, and maintaining relationships with prospective students, academic institutions, and other stakeholders. The role also requires the strategic planning and execution of marketing campaigns, counselling, and supporting the overall growth and development of the campus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Admissions Process Management:
• Oversee the entire PG admissions process, from application submission to enrolment.
• Review and evaluate applications, ensuring that all admission requirements are met.
• Conduct interviews, assessments, and other selection processes as per the university's standards.
• Coordinate with academic departments to ensure timely processing of applications.
• Ensure that all documentation and paperwork are accurate and compliant with university policies.
• Outreach and Recruitment:
• Plan and execute targeted recruitment strategies to attract top PG candidates.
• Organize and participate in university fairs, webinars, and information sessions to promote UCAM's PG programs.
• Build relationships with academic institutions, corporate partners, and industry networks to generate leads.
• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies for social media, email campaigns, and other outreach activities to increase visibility.
• Counselling and Guidance:
• Provide comprehensive counselling to prospective PG students regarding program offerings, admission criteria, career prospects, and campus life.
• Address student queries, provide timely follow-up, and guide them through the entire admission process.
• Conduct personalized interactions with candidates to understand their academic and career goals, ensuring they find the right program.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with the marketing and communication team to develop promotional materials and communication strategies.
• Maintain relationships with faculty, deans, and program directors to ensure smooth coordination between departments.
• Engage with alumni and current students to gather testimonials and insights that can be used in marketing efforts.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of admission and outreach strategies.
• Prepare reports on the number of applications, enrolments, conversion rates, and key demographics.
• Continuously assess and improve the admissions processes to increase efficiency and enrolment success.
• Event Management:
• Plan and execute on-campus and virtual events, including open houses, information sessions, and meet-and-greet events with faculty and staff.
• Organize and manage visits by prospective students and parents to the UCAM Mumbai campus, ensuring they receive a thorough understanding of the institution's offerings.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
• Utilize CRM tools to track and manage all student interactions, ensuring prompt follow-up and communication.
• Maintain an updated database of prospective and admitted students.
• Compliance and Best Practices:
• Stay updated on higher education admissions policies and trends, ensuring UCAM's PG enrolment process is competitive and complies with regulations.
• Ensure all outreach and recruitment activities are aligned with UCAM's values and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education:
• A Master's degree (preferably in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field).
• Additional certifications in admissions or higher education management are desirable.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or outreach, preferably in a higher education environment.
• Experience in managing PG enrolment processes is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in developing and executing outreach campaigns, both online and offline.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and student management systems.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with prospective students, faculty, alumni, and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of the higher education landscape in India and global trends in PG education.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
