About Medhavi Skills University
Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private skills university established under a State Act in Sikkim, dedicated to promoting quality skill education and entrepreneurship integrated with higher education. As a pioneering institution in the convergence of the skilling ecosystem with higher education, MSU aligns with the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Recognized by the UGC and established in 2021, MSU collaborates with industries and Skill Development Institutes to offer work-integrated courses, embedding on-the-job internships and training within the curriculum. MSU is a recognized Awarding Body under the National Council for Vocational Education & Training (NCVET) and is empanelled with the Directorate General of Training (DGT). As an anchor university partner with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and the Project Management Unit (PMU) of NSDC International, MSU is committed to preparing youth for the future workspace by co-working with industry partners to design and implement demand-driven programs.
of Admission Officer:
The Admission Officer is a key role responsible for promoting MSU and driving student enrollment in the designated zone of Arunachal Pradesh and other states of North East . This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges, and educational institutions, organizing outreach activities, and guiding prospective students through the admission process.
Responsibilities:
• Outreach:
• Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to target potential students and their parents.
• Organize and participate in educational fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote MSU.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and educational institutions in South Sikkim.
• Distribute marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers.
• Admissions:
• Identify and generate admissions who meet MSU's admission criteria.
• Conduct counseling sessions to guide students and their parents through the admission process.
• Assist with the application process, including document verification and fee submission.
• Follow up with prospective students to address their queries and provide necessary information.
• Meeting overall admission targets from the designated region.
Qualifications and Skills:
• University Admission experience of 2-4 years will be most preferred
• Bachelor's / Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration, Education).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using computers and relevant software (e.g., CRM, Microsoft Office).
• Experience in sales, marketing, or education is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of the local education landscape in Arunachal Pradesh and North East.
