Admission Counselor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Admission Counselor to join our university's admissions team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, fostering relationships, and ensuring a seamless application experience. The candidate must hold an MBA and possess relevant experience in academic counseling, admissions, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counseling: Engage with prospective students and their families to provide information about university programs, admission criteria, and campus life.

Assess students' qualifications and guide them toward suitable programs.

2. Application Management: Review and evaluate student applications to ensure eligibility for admission. Assist students with application completion, document submission, and follow-up processes.

3. Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with high schools, colleges, and other educational institutions to attract potential applicants. Represent the university at education fairs, school visits, and community outreach events.

4. Admissions Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement outreach strategies to increase applications. Maintain records of student interactions and provide regular updates to the admissions team.

5. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all admissions activities comply with university policies and regulatory requirements.Prepare reports and updates for the admissions office regarding student inquiries, trends, and enrollment statistics.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: MBA (mandatory).

Experience: Minimum of 0-5 years in admissions counseling, academic advising, or a related field.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and admissions management software is preferred.
