We are seeking a dedicated Admission Counsellor to join our team and assist prospective students with the online admissions process. As a Admission Counsellor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for students seeking guidance on college admissions and will be responsible for facilitating the entire admissions process on behalf of our company. Additionally, you will lead a team of Admission Counsellors, providing mentorship and support to ensure the success of the admissions team.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct online consultations with prospective students to assess their academic goals, interests, and preferences.
• Provide personalized guidance to students on college options, admission requirements, application procedures, and financial aid opportunities.
• Utilize our Automated College Suggestion Platform to match students with suitable educational institutions based on their profiles and preferences.
• Assist students in completing online applications, submitting required documents, and meeting application deadlines.
• Communicate regularly with students via email, phone, or video conferencing to address their questions and concerns throughout the admissions process.
• Collaborate with college admissions offices to streamline the application review and decision-making process.
• Stay informed about trends and developments in college admissions, financial aid, and higher education policies.
• Lead and mentor a team of Admission Counsellors, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience required: 1-2 years of Experience.
• Previous experience in college admissions counselling, student advising, or a related role preferred.
• Language required: English (Mandatory), & Malayalam
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in using online platforms and digital tools for remote counselling and communication.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and support to students.
• Knowledge of college admissions processes, standardized testing, and financial aid resources is a plus.
