Are you passionate about guiding and mentoring students towards a successful academic journey? Join our dynamic team of experienced professionals, including alumni from prestigious institutions like IIM, BITS, and IIT, for a 2-month internship with Newton School of Technology.


About the program: Newton School of Technology introduced India\'s first global B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with Rishihood University last year. To enroll in the program, students must register for the Newton Scholastic & Aptitude Test (NSAT). Successful completion of the NSAT qualifies eligible students for an Interview and Group Discussion (GD), where their proficiency, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the technology industry are assessed. Subsequently, students are required to participate in a Counseling Round alongside their parents, during which they receive their Final Score on a scale of 10. Scholarship awards are granted as applicable, and a detailed orientation of the course is provided. Students and parents are encouraged to pose any queries, and they are briefed on the subsequent procedures, payment deadlines, and seat reservation process.

• Assist in the admission process for the Batch of 2024 by providing necessary information and guidance.
• Collaborate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
• Conduct one-on-one Counselling Sessions with 12th-grade students and their parents, by the established protocol and SOP.
• Effectively communicate final scores to students and address any queries or concerns they may have.
• Provide detailed information about scholarships, if applicable, and guide students through the course.

Timeline & Location: 2 months internship Physical availability for 4-6 days per month in Kolkata location for conducting interviews and counseling sessions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Enrolled in an MBA program at a recognized institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of academic counseling principles.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Capability to quickly acquaint oneself with the admissions process.

Experience:

• Previous experience in admissions counseling or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in the marketing or sales field is preferred.
• Familiarity with the technology industry and academic programs is a plus.
