Overview

An Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting and guiding prospective students through the admissions process. They play a crucial role in promoting the institution, evaluating applications, and assisting students in making informed decisions about their education.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Outreach:
• Conduct informational sessions and campus tours.
• Represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, and community events.
• Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other educational institutions.
• Application Review and Processing:
• Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, test scores, and other documentation.
• Conduct interviews and assess applicants' fit for the institution.
• Make admission decisions and recommendations based on established criteria.
• Student Guidance and Support:
• Assist prospective students and their families with the application process, including financial aid and scholarship applications.
• Provide information about academic programs, campus life, and other aspects of the institution.
• Address inquiries and concerns from prospective students and their families.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses.
• Analyze and report on recruitment and admission data.
• Use data to identify trends and improve recruitment strategies.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other departments, such as financial aid, academic advising, and student services.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials.
• Communicate effectively with prospective students, families, and educational partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?20,000.00 per month
