Key Responsibilities:

• Advise students on academic plans, course selection, and degree requirements.
• Assist students in developing and achieving educational and career goals.
• Monitor student academic progress and provide guidance on academic performance.
• Conduct individual and group advising sessions.
• Assist in the development of academic plans for students on probation or facing academic challenges.
• Provide information on institutional policies, procedures, and resources.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success initiatives.
• Participate in orientation programs and other events to support student transition and engagement.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
• Stay updated on academic programs, institutional policies, and best practices in academic advising.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Experience in academic advising or a related field in higher education.
• Strong understanding of academic programs, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using advising software and student information systems.
• Commitment to student success and continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,046.36 - ?35,272.76 per month
