Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aviation Admission Counselor to join our team in the aviation industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process for both ground classes and flying training programs. As an Admission Counselor, you will play a crucial role in attracting, advising, and supporting individuals passionate about pursuing a career in aviation.

Responsibilities:

Admission Guidance: Provide detailed information about the aviation programs, curriculum, and admission requirements to potential students.
Assist prospective students in understanding the various ground classes and flying training options available.

Application Processing: Review and evaluate student applications to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Collaborate with the admissions team to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for the aviation programs.

Counseling and Guidance: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with prospective students to understand their career goals and aspirations.
Offer guidance on program selection based on individual aptitude, interests, and career objectives.

Information Sessions: Organize and conduct information sessions for groups of prospective students and their families to showcase the benefits of our aviation programs.
Address inquiries related to admission processes, financial aid, and program details during these sessions.

Recruitment Events: Represent the institution at various recruitment events, career fairs, and educational expos to attract potential students.
Build and maintain relationships with high schools, colleges, and other educational institutions to expand the reach of our aviation programs.

Follow-up and Communication: Maintain regular communication with prospective students through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
Provide updates on the status of their applications and assist in resolving any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Previous experience in admissions, counseling, or a related field.

Knowledge of aviation industry and training programs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with educational software and CRM systems is a plus.
