Job Description

To guiding students through the entire process of studying overseas, from understanding their academic goals and interests to selecting suitable universities, preparing application materials, managing visa requirements, and providing support throughout the transition period, all while considering the individual student's profile and financial situation. Key responsibilities of a student counsellor in study abroad consultancy:

Student assessment:

Conducting thorough consultations to understand each student's academic background, career aspirations, strengths, weaknesses, and preferred study destination.

University selection:

Assisting students in identifying appropriate universities and programs based on their profile and goals, considering factors like course curriculum, rankings, admission requirements, and costs.

Application guidance:

Providing comprehensive support with application forms, essays, letters of recommendation, transcripts, and other necessary documents to ensure a strong application package.

Test preparation advice:

Offering guidance on standardized tests like TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, ACT, and providing strategies for test preparation

Scholarship search:

Helping students identify and apply for relevant scholarships and financial aid opportunities to make studying abroad more affordable

Visa process support:

Guiding students through the visa application process, including document preparation, visa interview preparation, and addressing any concerns related to visa requirements

Pre-departure briefing:

Providing information about the chosen university, accommodation options, cultural adaptation, living expenses, and important aspects of life in the study destination

Post-departure support:

Maintaining contact with students after they arrive abroad to address any challenges they might face and offer ongoing support
