An admission counsellor's primary role is to promote an Institution to prospective students and assist them through the admissions process. Their responsibilities include:
Recruiting
Identifying potential students, attending recruiting events, and promoting the Institute to students and their parents. Follows up with students to verify any application issues, including discrepancies or missing information. Advise students in individual or group counselling sessions to address their academic, personal and social needs.
Reviewing applications
Evaluating applications for admission, including academic qualifications, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation. Evaluate students on their competencies, interests and ambitions to identify suitable academic and professional pathways
Interviewing
Meeting with and interviewing prospective students
Following up
Contacting students to verify application information and ensure they have all the necessary information
Making decisions
Working with other admissions counsellors to review applicants and make final admissions decisions
Maintaining records
Keeping accurate records of interactions with prospective students
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
