We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Admission Counselor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing essential information about our school, programs, and values. This role involves strong communication skills, an in-depth understanding of the academic and extracurricular offerings, and a passion for helping students find their academic path.
Key Responsibilities:
• Student Outreach & Engagement : Engage with prospective students and parents through in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, webinars, and school events.
• Admission Guidance : Provide detailed information on admission requirements, the application process, financial aid, and program offerings.
• Campus Tours & Presentations : Conduct campus tours and organize informational sessions to help prospective students experience the school environment.
• Application Support : Assist students with their applications, ensuring all required documents are submitted correctly and on time.
• Evaluation : Work closely with the admissions team to evaluate applications and ensure the selection of students aligns with the institution's goals.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of student interactions, inquiries, and application statuses.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments (marketing, academic departments, student services) to ensure seamless communication and support for prospective students.
Qualifications:
• Education : A Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Experience : Prior experience in admissions, counseling, or education is preferred but not mandatory.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to students and parents.
• Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Interpersonal Skills : A positive attitude, strong people skills, and the ability to engage with diverse groups of students and parents.
• Technology Proficiency : Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software tools for managing admissions workflows.
• Sales and Marketing : Experience or understanding of marketing techniques and the ability to "sell" the school's vision to prospective students is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Passion for Education : A genuine interest in helping students make informed decisions about their academic futures.
• Multilingual Skills : Proficiency in multiple languages (if relevant to the school's demographics) is a plus.
