Job Title: Admission Counsellor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Admission Counsellor to join our admissions team at Indo Asian Academy. As an Admission Counsellor, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students and their parents through the admission process, providing information on college programs, and ensuring a smooth transition to our institution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Counsel prospective students and parents: Provide information on college programs, courses, eligibility criteria, and admission procedures.
2. Conduct campus tours and presentations: Showcase college facilities, infrastructure, and achievements to prospective students and parents.
3. Process applications and documentation: Verify student documents, process applications, and ensure timely completion of admission formalities.
4. Meet admission targets: Achieve monthly and annual admission targets, and contribute to the growth of the institution.
5. Collaborate with the admissions team: Work closely with the admissions team to ensure a smooth and efficient admission process.
6. Provide excellent customer service: Respond to queries, resolve concerns, and provide support to prospective students, parents, and existing students.
7. Stay updated on college programs and courses: Maintain knowledge of college programs, courses, and facilities to provide accurate information to prospective students and parents.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree: Any discipline, preferably in education, psychology, or a related field.
2. 1-3 years of experience: In admissions, counselling, or a related field, preferably in an educational institution.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to resolve queries, concerns, and issues efficiently.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software: Ability to use technology to manage data, track applications, and analyse trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree: In education, psychology, or a related field.
2. Experience in PU college admissions: Familiarity with PU college programs, courses, and admission procedures.
3. Knowledge of local languages: Ability to communicate with students and parents in local languages.
