We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Admissions Counsellor to join our team. The Admissions Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information about programs, and assisting applicants with enrollment. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, providing accurate information about programs, admission requirements, and application procedures.
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Conduct informational sessions, campus tours, and open houses to engage prospective students and their families.
Counsel students and parents on career pathways and program suitability based on their interests and qualifications.
Assist applicants throughout the admissions process, including application submission, document collection, and interview scheduling.
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute outreach campaigns and events.
Follow up with leads and inquiries to ensure timely communication and updates.
Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students and update the admissions database regularly.
Monitor application progress and provide status updates to applicants.
Work closely with academic departments to understand program offerings and updates.
Contribute to the achievement of enrollment targets by meeting individual and team goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
1-3 years of experience in admissions, sales, customer service, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Experience in education counseling or student advisory roles is an advantage.
