Job Description

Job Summary:
Hillwoods School, Gandhinagar is seeking a dedicated and proactive Supervisor to oversee administrative operations and estate management. This role involves extensive fieldwork, ensuring the smooth running of school facilities, managing maintenance tasks, and supporting various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administrative Duties:
- Assist in the daily administrative operations of the school.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure effective communication and smooth functioning.
- Manage records, files, and documentation related to school administration.
- Handle inquiries and concerns from parents, students, and staff promptly and professionally.

- Estate Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of school facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
- Supervise the work of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs, maintenance, and procurement of supplies.
- Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify and address maintenance needs.

- Field Work:
- Regularly monitor and assess the condition of school facilities, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations across the school premises.
- Implement and supervise safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Liaise with local authorities and service providers as required for the smooth functioning of school operations.

- Team Management:
- Lead and motivate a team of maintenance and administrative staff.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in administrative and estate management roles, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using office software and management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Working Conditions:
- The role requires extensive fieldwork and physical presence on the school premises.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed for school events or emergencies.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From ?35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Gandhinagar, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
