Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Malla Reddy College of Engineering ( MRCE Campus -2 ). The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, with a strong emphasis on cash handling, proficient typing skills, and expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cash Handling:
o Manage daily cash transactions, including fee collection and petty cash disbursements.
o Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and reconcile cash balances regularly.
o Ensure compliance with the college's financial policies and procedures.
• Admissions Management:
o Assist in the admissions process, including handling inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining applicant records.
o Coordinate with prospective students and parents, providing information and guidance through the admission process.
o Prepare and distribute admission-related documents and communications.
• Administrative Support:
o Provide administrative support to the department, including preparing documents, reports, and correspondence.
o Assist in the preparation of college events, meetings, and presentations.
o Handle student inquiries and provide general information regarding college policies and procedures.
• Typing and Document Management:
o Type and format various documents, including memos, letters, and reports, with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
o Maintain organized records, files, and databases.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word:
o Create, manage, and update spreadsheets using MS Excel for data tracking, analysis, and reporting.
o Use MS Word to draft, edit, and finalize various documents, ensuring professional presentation.
• Communication Skills:
o Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff in person, over the phone, and via email.
o Provide clear and concise information and instructions as needed.
o Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• General Administrative Duties:
o Maintain the overall organization of the office, ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is in working order.
o Assist in other administrative tasks as assigned by the Administrative Manager.
Qualifications:
• Graduation must with additional qualifications in administration or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
• Excellent typing skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle cash and financial transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Work Hours: 09:30AM TO 05:30PM ( Monday to Saturday )
Salary: 16000 to 25000
