STEM education a Starfish initiative is an early childhood education institution which aims to provide wholesome learning where early learners are nurtured to mature into lifelong learners and global citizens. Our care-oriented ecosystem offers preschool, extended day programmes and after-school activities keeping in mind the principles of a Blended Curriculum, Play-based exploration, Evidence-based learning and Child-centered learning. We are growing and to support the implementation of our progress and ethos we have a vacancy for a multi-skilled Admin Coordinator.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ADMINISTRATIVE

• Coordinate with various teams as appropriately required and verify the quality of output design, marketing, interiors etc [Work with Starfish team on planning Brand & Marketing initiatives, collaterals etc].
• Be the point of contact with the National/state boards (if necessary), and local environment, understand local dynamics and get introduced to vendors, and government officials.
• Offer suggestions related to supplies required to successfully implement the preschool programmes.
• Coordinate with current promoters to expand franchisees, and perform the due diligence of the franchise via a checklist.
• Prepare an Operational Tracker that can be applied across schools.
• Update Excel sheets and maintain them clearly in Google Drive.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME

Support the Education Led to:

• Provide hands-on support to STEM joint venture or franchise holders.
• Oversee, audit and report operational matters as set by STEM education.
• Design and develop teaching & lesson plans. Audit if required to ensure quality.
• Evaluate classroom and out-of-classroom activities to achieve progressive early childhood education and continuous learning.
• Review the school\xe2\x80\x99s safeguarding policies and audit practices
• Ensure the following documentation is maintained and audited the following:

• Curricular work and student assessment reports
• Medical conditions of children are recorded and readily available should an emergency arise
• Transportation lists and duty rosters are prepared & displayed.
• Professional development records of the teachers

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

• Represent STEM in a professional manner and protect the interests of the institution and its joint ventures /franchises in the wider community.
• Be mannerly, punctual and well-presented.
• Review and suggest methods of teaching and delivery of the curriculum to ensure standards are consistently high.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of current trends in teaching and learning.
• Ensure objectives in relation to the curriculum, equal opportunities and discipline are promoted.
• Be fully committed to STEM to ensure the vision and ethos are promoted.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• A Postgraduate degree with a B.Ed or Teacher training with two to three years of experience in a school environment.
• Understanding legislation with regard to Health and Safety, such that the school meets its statutory requirements and is a safe environment for learning, promoting the well-being of staff and children
• Proven management skills; ability to handle multiple projects and processes simultaneously; strong attention to detail
• Student-oriented attitude; integrity; professionalism; strong work ethic; collaboration, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and with an ability to train and evaluate teaching staff
• Computer literate with literacy in word processing, spreadsheet, and digital imaging programmes
• Be open to travel

Benefits

SALARY: 25,000.00 - 35,000.00
