We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Administrative Officer to manage the day-to-day operations of our shelters. The ideal candidate will be an MBA-qualified professional with a passion for social service and proven administrative expertise. This role demands strong leadership, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to serving vulnerable communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the operations of multiple shelters, ensuring efficient management and high-quality care for residents.
• Manage shelter budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Develop and implement operational procedures for effective shelter management.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and volunteers to ensure holistic support for residents.
• Monitor and evaluate shelter programs, preparing reports for the management team and donors.
• Foster a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all residents and staff.
• Handle stakeholder communication, including government agencies, donors, and partners.
Required Qualifications:
• MBA in Operations/Administration/General Management or a related field.
• Experience in administration, preferably in the non-profit or social service sector.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and administrative tools.
• Passion for social service and a deep understanding of vulnerable communities' needs.
