Job Responsibilities for Administrative Assistant at Virog Ayurveda Clinic

Administrative Duties:

Reception Management:

Greet patients and visitors, providing a warm and welcoming environment.

Answer and direct phone calls, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.

Patient Coordination:

Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Assist in the preparation of patient documentation, including consent forms and medical histories.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow-up visits.

Office Management:

Maintain a clean and organized office space.

Order and manage office supplies inventory.

Handle mail and courier services.

Billing and Payments:

Process patient payments, manage invoices, and maintain accurate billing records.

Coordinate with insurance companies for patient claims and reimbursements.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and other staff members.

Prepare and distribute clinic correspondence, such as emails and letters.

Record Keeping:

Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality policies.

Pharmacy Assistance Duties:

Medicine Dispensing:

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescribed medications.

Provide patients with accurate information about their medications, including dosage instructions and potential side effects.

Inventory Management:

Monitor stock levels of pharmaceuticals and other medical supplies.

Assist in ordering and restocking medications and supplies as needed.

Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.

Patient Interaction:

Answer patient questions regarding their prescriptions.

Offer guidance on the proper use of over-the-counter medications and health products.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area, adhering to safety protocols.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all dispensed medications.

Update patient records with medication details and dispensing information.

General Responsibilities:

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with healthcare providers, pharmacists, and other administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.

Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to all patients and visitors.

Address patient concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
