An accounts administrator manages a company\'s accounts, including accounts payable and receivable. Their responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing financial transactions
  • Reviewing and reconciling accounts
  • Processing payments to external partners
  • Maintaining records of invoices and receipts
  • Supporting the finance team
  • Delegating accounting duties
  • Ensuring accounting documentation is stored and visible
  • Analyzing transaction records
  • Receiving and verifying billing and requisitions
  • Contacting clients to collect payments
  • Other responsibilities might include:
  • Keeping precise records
  • Ensuring adherence to accounting regulations and policies
  • Recognizing and suggesting enhancements to processes
  • Working together with other departments to guarantee precise and prompt reporting and analysis
  • Directing clients, third-party vendors, and direct marketers about their responsibilities
  • Maintaining client services
  • Preparing, submitting, and filing tax forms
  • Updating internal accounting databases and spreadsheets
