The Administrative Supervisor supports the efficient functioning of administrative processes within the school, overseeing a team of administrative staff to ensure smooth operations and compliance with school policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervision and Leadership:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of administrative staff (e.g., clerical assistants, receptionists).
• Provide guidance, training, and support to administrative team members.
• Delegate tasks and monitor workload distribution to ensure efficiency.
• Administrative Operations Management:
• Oversee daily administrative operations, including scheduling, record-keeping, and correspondence.
• Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures by administrative staff.
• Maintain and update administrative manuals and procedures as needed.
• Facilities and Resources Management:
• Monitor and coordinate maintenance of school facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers for facility maintenance and repairs.
• Financial Administration:
• Assist in budget monitoring and expenditure tracking related to administrative operations.
• Prepare financial reports and assist in budget planning for administrative expenses.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in administrative supervision or management, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and administrative software.
• Knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and regulations.
