Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our team. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of HR functions across various departments, including educators, admin staff, accounts, IT, housekeeping, transport, security, and civil (construction and maintenance). This role is pivotal in driving our school's mission by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Staffing:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and selection.
• Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
• Onboarding and Orientation:
• Conduct new employee orientations to ensure smooth integration into the school environment.
• Prepare and update onboarding materials and employee handbooks.
• Facilitate the completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Employee Relations:
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
• Implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
• Performance Management:
• Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance improvement plans.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance employee skills.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Compliance and Policy Management:
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and school policies.
• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Compensation and Benefits:
• Administer payroll and benefits programs.
• Conduct salary surveys and recommend competitive compensation packages.
• Manage employee leave and attendance records.
• HR Administration:
• Oversee HR-related administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting.
• Manage HR software and databases.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient HR operations.
• Transportation Management:
• Coordinate transportation logistics for staff using the school's bus service.
• Ensure timely and safe transportation for employees.
• Safety and Security:
• Collaborate with the security department to ensure a safe working environment.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response plans.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role.
• Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Experience in an educational institution.
