Description :Job BriefWe are looking to recruit an Actuarial Intern, based in Milliman\xe2\x80\x99s Gurgaon Office. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of retirement/employee benefit issues and develop their consulting expertise.Key Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Assist in preparation of actuarial valuation and compliance work for Retirement and Post Retiree Medical (OPEB) plans under single and multi-employers, including:a) Funding valuationsb) Accounting valuationsc) Government form preparation\xc2\xb7 Perform benefit calculations\xc2\xb7 Assist in preparation of valuation, disclosure and expense reports\xc2\xb7 Prepare benefit coding to replicate valuations under legacy tools\xc2\xb7 Analyze and assist on special retirement projects\xc2\xb7 Provide broader day-to-day support to staff based in Gurgaon and USA\xc2\xb7 Maintain a healthy billing rate across calendar year.Requirements / Skill Set\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge of retirement and/or retiree medical work\xc2\xb7 Graduates / Post-graduates \xe2\x80\x93 preferably Math / Stats / Eco / Commerce streams\xc2\xb7 2-3 actuarial exams\xc2\xb7 Strong technical and problem-solving aptitude\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, particularly, MS-Excel and MS-Word\xc2\xb7 VBA / R / SQL / SAS experience will be preferential\xc2\xb7 Ability to manage workflow and deliver product independently\xc2\xb7 Strong oral and written communication skills\xc2\xb7 Flexible with work timings and compatible within team\xc2\xb7 Pursuing actuarial exams and motivated to become an actuary.
