Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and analytical " Activity Manager" to join our team at Wellness Center-Rishibhumi. Rishibhumi Naturopathy Wellness Center seeks a dynamic and experienced Activity Manager to design, manage, and enhance our wellness and recreational programs . The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and wellness, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate strong leadership abilities to ensure our guests have an enriching and rejuvenating experience .

Key Responsibilities :

1. Guest Interaction :

• Welcome and Orientation : Greet guests upon arrival and provide an orientation of the wellness center and its facilities.
• Personalized Guest Experience: Assess guests' needs and preferences to tailor activities and wellness programs accordingly.
• Guest Relations: Maintain continuous communication with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
• Feedback Collection: Regularly collect feedback from guests to improve services and programs.

2. Day-to-Day Schedule Activity :

• Program Planning : Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule of daily activities , including yoga sessions, meditation, fitness classes, nature walks, and wellness workshops.
• Coordination with Instructors: Liaise with wellness instructors, therapists, and facilitators to ensure smooth execution of scheduled activities.
• Resource Management : Ensure all necessary resources and materials for activities are available and in good condition.
• Time Management : Manage time effectively to ensure all activities start and end on schedule.

3. Activity Execution :

• Activity Facilitation: Lead and facilitate various wellness activities and programs, ensuring high levels of participant engagement and safety.
• Quality Assurance : Monitor the quality of activities and make adjustments as needed to maintain high standards.
• Safety Protocols : Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations .
• Crisis Management : Handle any emergencies or unexpected situations promptly and efficiently

Program Development : Create and implement a varied schedule of wellness and recreational activities, including yoga, meditation, nature walks, fitness classes, and workshops .

Guest Interaction : Engage with guests to understand their wellness goals and preferences, offering tailored recommendations and support .

Qualifications :

1. Educational Background :

• Bachelor's degree in in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Health & Wellness, or a related field.

A Master's Degree or MBA is preferred.

2. Experience :

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a wellness center, resort, or health spa .
• Certifications : Relevant certifications in wellness practices such as yoga instruction, fitness training, or naturopathy are highly desirable.

3. Skills :

Leadership : Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team.

Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective guest and staff interaction.

Organizational : Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple programs and events simultaneously.

Interpersonal : Friendly and approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.

Problem-Solving : Creative and efficient problem-solving abilities.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing guest needs and operational demands.
