JOB DESCRIPTION :
Project Planning and Strategy :
- Identify financial inclusion priorities and develop project objectives and strategies.
- Conduct research and analysis to understand the needs and challenges of underserved communities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
Project Coordination and Execution:
- Lead project teams and coordinate activities across different departments or organizations.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Facilitate regular communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members, ensuring their understanding of project goals and responsibilities.
Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for partnerships and resource sharing.
- Conduct meetings, workshops, and presentations to engage stakeholders and communicate project updates.
- Address stakeholder concerns, negotiate agreements, and resolve conflicts when necessary.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess project effectiveness and impact.
- Collect and analyze data on key project metrics, such as access to financial services, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to share project outcomes with stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to project strategies and activities.
Compliance and Regulatory Considerations:
- Stay updated on relevant regulations, policies, and industry best practices related to financial inclusion.
- Ensure project activities and initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any legal or regulatory challenges.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience managing projects related to financial inclusion, preferably in a development finance institution, non-profit organization, or a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of financial services, including banking, microfinance, digital payments and financial literacy programs
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and policies related to financial inclusion.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Fluency in written and spoken English (additional languages may be preferred depending on the project\'s context).
Experience : Minimum 10 -15 years experience in Senior Position
