: School Accountant with Computer Skills Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient School Accountant with computer skills to manage the financial operations of our institution. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth handling of accounting processes while leveraging technology to streamline tasks and maintain accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting and Financial Management: - Maintain and manage the school's financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. - Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies. 2. Fee Management: - Oversee student fee collection and maintain up-to-date records. - Handle fee-related inquiries from parents and guardians. 3. Inventory and Asset Management: - Track school assets and manage inventory records. - Assist in the procurement process, ensuring cost-effectiveness. 4. Computer-Based Operations: - Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) for record-keeping. - Prepare digital reports and presentations for school management. - Use MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and analysis. 5. Administrative Support: - Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure smooth financial operations. - Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite. - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. - Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. - Prior experience in a school or educational institution is a plus. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with school management systems or ERP software. - Knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting related to accounting tools.
