•Job Title:• Senior Accounts Admin-in-Charge

•Location:• St. Joseph's Group of Colleges, Tolichowki Branch

•Job Summary:•

St. Joseph's Group of Colleges is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Admin-in-Charge for our Tolichowki branch. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in the banking sector, with extensive experience in financial management and compliance. This role requires exceptional leadership to oversee our accounting department, ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of the institution.

•Key Responsibilities:•

•Day-to-Day Activities:•

- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and maintenance of the general ledger.

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

- Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash.

- Provide daily financial updates to senior management.

•Monthly Activities:•

- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports.

- Conduct monthly closing processes and ensure all financial data is accurate and complete.

- Monitor and manage budget expenditures, ensuring alignment with allocated budgets.

- Prepare and submit monthly payroll and statutory deductions.

- Coordinate with department heads to review and approve financial transactions.

•Yearly Activities:•

- Lead the preparation of the annual budget, collaborating with department heads and senior management.

- Oversee the year-end financial closing process, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and accurate.

- Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.

- Prepare and file annual tax returns and other regulatory filings.

- Conduct annual financial reviews and present findings to the board of directors.

•Qualifications:•

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) are highly desirable.

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with significant experience in the banking sector.

- Proven experience in managing accounting operations and financial reporting.

- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise and develop a team.

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•Preferred Qualifications:•

- Previous employment with a reputable bank, with a demonstrated history of managing financial operations.

- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and financial compliance standards.

- Experience in conducting financial audits and managing tax-related matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
