Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Trainee to join our finance team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial management. You will work under the guidance of senior professionals and assist in day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records Support the preparation of invoices, bills, and financial statements Handle basic accounting transactions including journal entries and bank reconciliations Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes Help in maintaining general ledger and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities Support audits, both internal and external Maintain documentation and filing of accounting records Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reporting Learn and use accounting software and ERP systems Perform other administrative or accounting tasks as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting domain

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Internship or project experience in accounting/finance is a plus Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian taxation basics
