Job Description

The Accounts Trainee / Data Entry Operator is responsible for assisting the finance team with data entry, record-keeping, and basic accounting tasks. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in maintaining financial records, invoices, and receipts. Support in handling accounts payable and receivable transactions. Reconcile bank statements and assist with ledger maintenance. Assist in preparing financial reports and statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Help in tax calculations and GST/TDS filings under supervision. Coordinate with other departments for financial data and reporting. Support in internal audits and inventory verification. Maintain confidentiality of financial data and sensitive information. Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Manager. Assist with filing, document management, and administrative tasks. Support senior accountants with various finance-related duties. Coordinate with other departments regarding financial documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred). Good communication and interpersonal skills.
