Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated PGT Accounts Teacher to join our dynamic team at SHRI SAI COACHING CENTRE in Dwarka, Delhi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage and inspire students at the senior secondary level. As a PGT Accounts Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing students for board exams and competitive exams with a focus on building their understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Instruction:

Deliver high-quality lessons on subjects related to Accounts as per the curriculum. Design engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Explain accounting concepts, principles, and procedures in a clear and comprehensible manner. Use modern teaching techniques and tools to enhance learning experiences.

Assessments & Evaluation:

Conduct regular quizzes, tests, and assignments to evaluate student progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve. Assist in the preparation of students for board exams and competitive examinations like CA, CS, or CPT.

Student Support & Guidance:

Offer personalized attention and mentorship to students, helping them overcome academic challenges. Encourage student participation in class discussions and practical application of accounting concepts. Motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals.

Classroom Management:

Maintain a disciplined and productive classroom environment. Ensure a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students.

Curriculum Development:

Collaborate with the team to develop and update the curriculum as per the latest educational standards. Ensure that the syllabus is completed on time and in an effective manner.

Parental Interaction (if applicable):

Communicate student progress to parents/guardians through reports or meetings. Provide recommendations to parents on how they can support their child's learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualifications:

Master's degree (PG) in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. B.Ed. (preferred but not required). Additional certifications in accounting or teaching will be a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching accounts at the senior secondary or coaching level. Experience in preparing students for board exams and competitive exams is highly preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, taxation, and related subjects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner. Proficiency in using teaching tools, including digital platforms, to enhance the learning experience. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
