Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting responsibilities and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
• Record financial transactions, including income, expenses, and other financial activities.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
• Work with other departments to ensure that budgetary goals are met.
• Process and verify invoices for payment.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate and send out invoices to clients or customers.
• Follow up on overdue payments and ensure timely collection.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Provide financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly, Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Keep abreast of changes in accounting and financial regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Communicate financial information effectively to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes.
• Utilize accounting software and tools for efficient financial management. -Stay updated on the latest accounting software and technology.
• Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and other accounting-related issues. - Implement solutions to improve financial processes.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and other external parties in a professional manner. - Address inquiries and concerns related to financial matters.

Requirement

Candidate should be a M Com graduate with minimum 3 years of experience in accounts department. Those who have experience in finance industry will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?18,000.00 per month
