JOB DESCRIPTION:

Designation/Role: Accounts Officer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Recording Transactions: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system and ledger on time.

Verify supporting documents to ensure accuracy.

Classify transactions correctly based on their nature.

Maintain balance through double-entry accounting.

Bills Verification: Verify purchase and sales bills against relevant documents and agreements with Genuity in it.

Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Resolve any discrepancies with concerned departments.

Maintaining Ledger: Maintain the general ledger accurately to reflect the company's financial position.

E-invoice and E-way Bill Preparation: Customize e-invoice templates.

Generate e-invoices and E-way bills in compliance with regulations.

Verify details and ensure accuracy.

Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and branch reconciliation with the HO

Petty Cash Management: Safeguard and disburse petty cash funds.

Record all transactions in a petty cash book.

Monitor balance and request replenishment when necessary.

Ensure transactions are supported by receipts and approved.

Reconcile petty cash regularly.

Record Keeping: Keep records of invoices, E-way bills, purchase, and sales bills.

Maintain petty cash ledgers every day.

Audit Support: Prepare documentation to support audits

Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Adhere to internal policies and procedures.

Skills/ Experience Required: 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Experience with Tally. Familiarity with relevant accounting principles, practices, and regulations is essential. Experience in e-invoicing, GST compliance, and financial reporting can be advantageous.
Educational Qualification: A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance.

Compensation / Salary: 20k to 25k Approx (Based on Interview)

Working Hours: Male 10:00AM - 8:00PM
