Job Responsibility
This role is primarily responsible to plan and direct the activities related to accounts for the Uma Group. Additionally, if the position is senior most position in the region, representing the Uma Marine Singapore.
Job Accountability
Accounting
? Manage account payable & receivable.
? Payroll management.
? Prepare monthly and quarterly statement and report.
? Invoice creation and submission to the client.
? Getting vendor invoices and updating in QuickBooks.
? Prepare monthly cashflow and forecasting plan.
? Participate in quarterly and annual audits when required.
? Create and update expenses report.
? Regularly reviewing and following up outstanding payment from the clients.
? Preparing monthly P&L report.
? Maintain an up-to-date cash flow.
? Control and monitor the company debt activities in consultation with the senior management.
? Carry out tax planning and filing annual returns for the company.
? Establish SOP's, internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions.
? Engage with external consultants where required for reporting requirements and other accounts/finance related activities of the company.
? Provide recommendations for financing of company assets and other business requirements.
? Lead the annual budget planning and management process.
Compliance
? Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
? Conduct investigation on accounting related incidents as per the management instructions.
? Conduct/coordinate internal and external audits to meet regulatory requirements and maintain the integrity of company accounts.
Reporting
? Produce the periodic financial reports in a timely manner.
? Production of various financial reports for analyzing the company performance and financial forecasts as per requirement from senior management.
Educational/Skills Qualification
? Bachelor of Accounting / Bachelor of Banking and Finance / Bachelor of Business Administration
? Experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
? Minimum 2 years plus experience as a team lead/senior position, managing complex accounting structures. in supporting office accounts functions.
? Experience in Maritime industry will be advantageous.
? Proficient in MS office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
? Good English verbal and written communication skills
? Able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment.
? Willing to provide additional administrative support when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?550,000.00 per year
