Job description
We are a prominent financial services and management firm with operations spanning across the Middle East. Our headquarters are situated in Kacheripady, Kerala. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our accounts division. Ideal candidates will have experience in the service sector, particularly within financial enterprises.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and assess financial statements (e.g., profit and loss statements, balance sheets) and deliver comprehensive reports to management.
• Manage cash flow, banking activities, and optimize cash reserves.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and generate client account statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal procedures.
• Handle inter-company transaction entries and maintain statements of accounts.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely task completion.
• Collaborate with tax consultants for effective tax planning, compliance, and filing.
Experience Required:
• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience, with at least 1 year in a similar role.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Preference given to candidates with a commerce background (M.Com, B.Com) or MBA.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel is crucial.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, and Excel is required.
• Ability to generate financial reports accurately.
• Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
• Immediate availability preferred, ideally within 4 to 7 days.
• Candidates based in Ernakulam are strongly preferred.
