Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the finance and accounting department by performing clerical tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Recordkeeping:
- Maintain and update financial records in accounting systems.
- Accurately record invoices, payments, and expenses.
2. Data Entry:
- Enter financial transactions into the system with precision.
- Ensure all data entries are error-free and comply with company policies.
3. Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and collection of receivables.
5. Reporting:
- Generate periodic financial reports as requested.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and other financial documents.
6. Administrative Support:
- Handle correspondence related to accounting issues.
- Maintain organized and secure filing systems for financial records.
7. Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (essential).
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience:
- Prior experience as an account clerk or in a related role is advantageous.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial principles.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
