This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, vendor management, and collaborating effectively with sales to optimize accounts receivable functions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for numbers, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management:
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor transactions and reconcile discrepancies as necessary.
  • Negotiate favorable payment terms and discounts with vendors to optimize cost savings.
  • MIS Reporting:
  • Compile and analyze financial data to prepare regular management information system (MIS) reports.
  • Generate insights from financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through thorough validation and reconciliation.
  • Accounts Receivable Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales team to reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing issues.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments to minimize overdue balances.
  • Assist in credit control activities to mitigate risks associated with delinquent accounts.
  • Financial Documentation:
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Prepare and process invoices for payment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compliance and Audit Support:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Implement recommendations from audit findings to strengthen internal controls and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2 years) in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
