Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• General Accounting Support:
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, etc.).
• Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system (Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
• Post and reconcile journal entries, expenses, and income entries.
• Assist with bank and cash reconciliations.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Process incoming and outgoing payments, including checking and verifying invoices.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
• Ensure timely processing of payments and invoicing.
• Follow up on overdue payments and maintain a healthy receivables record.
• Invoicing and Billing:
• Generate and issue invoices to clients/customers based on agreements.
• Track and monitor overdue invoices and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Reconcile sales and purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
• Tax Compliance & Reporting:
• Assist in GST (Goods and Services Tax) calculations and filing.
• Support in preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission of GST, TDS, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of tax payments, filings, and compliance.
• Payroll Support:
• Assist in the preparation of employee salaries, reimbursements, and benefits.
• Maintain employee records related to compensation, deductions, and benefits.
• Support in payroll reconciliations and filing statutory reports.
• Financial Reporting & Documentation:
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits, financial reviews, and tax filings.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management.
• Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all entries comply with accounting standards.
• Administrative Support:
• Assist the finance department with administrative tasks, filing, and organizing financial data.
• Liaise with internal departments for finance-related inquiries and support.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Education :
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification in accounting (e.g., CA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience :
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) is required.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax-related matters is preferred.
• Skills :
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?9,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
