Job Description

1. Account Manager/ Foreign Accountant (Canadian/US Accounting)

2. Location: Manimajra,Chandigarh ( Onsite )

3. Job Type: Full-time (Evening & Night Shift)

We provide back-office support to meet the outsourcing bookkeeping requirements of our clients in Canada and the USA. We believe in effectiveness, innovation, collaboration, and integrity. We aim to grow rapidly in 2024 and the coming years. This position is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background in Canadian and US operations. We are looking for someone who can commit for long-term and wants to grow with the company.

Independently Client Handling:

• Setting up chart of accounts and taxes in accounting software.

2. Arranging bookkeeping data, statements, missing invoices and software accesses from clients (emails only).

• Transaction processing mainly in QuickBooks/Xero and Dext/Hubdoc along with other related apps.

4. Confident to prepare bank queries (suspense account) for clients and fixing them in XERO when answered by client.

5. Thoroughly checking your work before sharing with clients/manager.

6. Bank, credit card and loan account reconciliations.

7. Inventory & COGS reconciliations along with in-transit inventory and advance payments to suppliers.

8. Financial reports preparation, review and finalization. Preparing KPI dashboard for the most relevant information to the business owners and the management.

9. Preparing year-end financial for the client and year-end package for the tax accountant.

10. Understanding of year end adjustment journal entry and matching final trial balance with the corporate tax return provided by the tax accountant.

11. Understanding taxes payable and return filing timelines for all your clients.

12. Ability to plan and execute the full monthly bookkeeping tasks including requirements from client, steps and final deliverables with timelines.

Must have (skills and knowledge):

1. One year of experience working in outsourced accounting in public practice environment.

2. 2 years of strong knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Xero.

3. Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken. Handle daily emails for your clients with a communication style that is clear, concise, and empathetic.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, where you hack everything and always look for creative ways to get the job done.

5. Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.

6. Ability to work independently on 15-25 clients with minimum guidance and errors.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
