Position: Accounts & Finance Head
Qualification:
Master's degree in Finance or CA.
Proven experience 8 years in a senior financial management role, preferably within a similar industry or sector.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations & best practices.
Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
Advanced proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft excel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Provide insightful recommendations to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance
Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Maintain compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
3. Treasury and Cash Management
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
Monitor banking activities and establish relationships with financial institutions.
Implement and maintain effective cash management policies and procedures.
4. Risk Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks across the organization.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard assets and minimize exposure.
Stay informed about economic, industry, and regulatory developments that may impact the company's financial health.
5. Financial Operations
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Streamline processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Leadership and Team Management
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the finance team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Develop talent, mentor staff, and promote professional growth within the finance function.
7. Strategic Planning and Decision Support
Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and drive business growth.
